Consider Credit Repair At The Conclusion Of The Bankruptcy Process

There are credit repair procedures that can be implemented that may help cleanse the bankruptcy filer's credit report of most if not all of the derogatory items in the report. While credit repair can be done at any time, it probably makes the most sense to do it, if the debtor is going to do it at all, at or after the conclusion of the bankruptcy process. The Law Offices Of Hagen & Hagen will be happy to refer the debtor to a credit repair specialist.

Bankruptcy FAQ

Should I list my monthly obligations, like my utility bills, in my bankruptcy case if I am current on such payments?

Generally no. If the debtor is current on his or her payment of certain monthly obligations such as utility bills, there is no point in listing the utility company as a creditor. In fact, by listing it as a creditor, it might prompt the utility company to demand a deposit for future services.
